SELLER’S STORY:
If you are looking for alternative-fuel transport with a range somewhere between a bicycle and a high end Tesla, the 2019 Nissan Leaf SV is the way to go, with a range from 150 miles on a single charge, it's the perfect commuter car. Nissan was the first company to take the full-electric car to the mainstream American consumer, and they remain unmatched and almost unchallenged in affordable EVs. This 2019 Leaf SV is in fantastic shape with very low miles. The Electric engine packs a punch with 147 horsepower and 236 lbs of torque. It also features a great sound system with standard AM/FM radio and MP3 CD player, as well as bluetooth conceivability, USB and auxiliary inputs, and is SiriusXM ready. Here at Green Eyed Motors, we focus on providing the highest quality used cars along the front-range. To help us achieve and maintain that goal, our Master Technician inspects and reconditions every vehicle we have in our inventory! We're super confident in the quality of this Nissan Leaf, but it also comes with the remainder of its factory warranty so you can buy and drive with confidence! We've assumed a fuel economy of 21 miles per gallon for a comparable gasoline powered premium sedan, for example, the 2016 Mercedes-Benz S550. We've also assumed the national average of $0.13 per kilowatt-hour for electricity, 10% charging on Tesla’s Supercharger network and $2.70 per gallon for premium gasoline over the next five years.
Florida has allowed owners of hybrid, electric and other low-emission vehicles to ride in high-occupancy-vehicle lanes with only one person in the car between 7 a.m. and 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. on weekdays. And with the introduction of the I-95 express lanes, they don't have to pay tolls.
EVs benefit from not requiring oil changes or other maintenance costs for exhaust systems. Studies have shown that this represents a 35 percent decrease in cost over time. Some calculations peg this to about 3 or 4 cents per mile of maintenance cost in an EV versus closer to 6 cents in an internal combustion car.
