2012 Nissan LEAF
HIGHLIGHTS:
SELLER’S STORY:
Call me at 757 635 1836. I bought my Leaf used in 2015 to learn about living with an EV. I used it as a runaround for shopping, taking the family to dinner, and as a commuter car for work. After 6 months I installed a level 2 charger. It became my favorite car to drive, because of the quiet smooth ride. Over the years the cars range began to drop. But, I did not want to sell it because it is so inexpensive to drive and so comfortable. So I replaced the battery in August of 2018. That was a good decision. The new battery is more robust and gave me so much more range. We decided to buy a Bolt in 2019 because it had enough range to take long trips. That was all I needed to know. We sold our ICE car and kept the Leaf for local trips and the Bolt for all other driving. The Leaf has remained my favorite car, but eventually we needed an EV with longer range and quicker charging than the Bolt. We bought an Ioniq 5. I hope the next owner enjoys their new to them Leaf. It is defiantly a great value. The practical range is around 65 miles today. The paint is fading. The heater does not work. (The AC blows very cold) And there is a bad switch that controls the passenger air bag. The tires are almost new. It has always started and gotten me to my destination. Call me at 757 635 1836
