Great car for around town! Served me well when my office was within 30 miles but my commute is now about 45 miles and I had to upgrade to a newer model. Mitsubishi just had a recall on some of the old batteries and so they replaced this one with a brand new $13000 battery. Top notch distance due to that brand new battery!

Florida has allowed owners of hybrid, electric and other low-emission vehicles to ride in high-occupancy-vehicle lanes with only one person in the car between 7 a.m. and 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. on weekdays. And with the introduction of the I-95 express lanes, they don't have to pay tolls.
EVs benefit from not requiring oil changes or other maintenance costs for exhaust systems. Studies have shown that this represents a 35 percent decrease in cost over time. Some calculations peg this to about 3 or 4 cents per mile of maintenance cost in an EV versus closer to 6 cents in an internal combustion car.
